Why should I go to Joe Russell?

For nearly 50 years, Joe Russell has helped thousands of people injured at work or in vehicle accidents. He has taken care of their related problems like Wills, Real Estate transfers and Estates. He has handled their claims for Social Security Disability and private disability claims.

In all of these matters, the client talks to Joe personally, whether in person or on the telephone. He is your attorney. He returns your calls and answers your questions.

He has successfully litigated claims for clients that have not only benefited them, but set precedents that have helped untold others.

Above all else, his concern has been to assure that the people he represents are able to take care of themselves and the families after the case is settled.

If you want a knowledgeable counselor who will be with you at every hearing or meeting, look no further.

What is Different about Joe’s Fees?

Claims for injuries from a fall, an auto accident, Workers’ Compensation or  Social Security Disability are all handled on a contingent fee basis.  The lawyer does not get paid until the client receives a settlement.

The lawyers who handle these claims all offer free consultations, but with Joe all consultations are handled by him personally, not some associate , paralegal or clerk.

What many or most lawyers fail to tell clients, in person or in their ads, is that most vehicle accident claims and workers’ compensation claims never go to Court yet many lawyers charge the same fee.

A. For Automobile Accident cases, if your case settles before suit is filed, my fee is 25%, not the 33-1/3 to 40% other attorneys charge.  This is in writing and no case is settled without your consent.

B. For Workers’ Compensation cases, if you are receiving benefits and the case settles, my fee is not 20% of the settlement—it is 10% or less.

C. For Social Security cases, it is illegal to charge any fee unless you win and the amount of the fee is approved by the Social Security Administration.  The fee is capped at 25% of back benefits and cannot exceed $7,200.00.

Since there are papers that need completed, medical records and reports to secure to give you the best chance of winning, it makes sense to consult with an attorney before filing your claim and to have him do the filings and secure the records.
